Many Stantonbury students stay on to our Sixth Form, which offers a mix of traditional A Levels and vocational courses. You can find the detailed curriculum, for each year group, below. Our dedicated Sixth Form area enjoys its own facilities including; conference rooms, study areas and break out spaces.
One of the keys to success at Sixth Form is choosing the right courses. You need to think about what you have enjoyed in Years 10 and 11 and how you work best, as well as your career plans or university choices.
We ensure those wishing to pursue specific vocations and careers are guided to make choices which will lead to the very best higher education, apprenticeship and employment opportunities. We care about the destinations our students take beyond Stantonbury International School. In 2018, university places were confirmed at Imperial College London, Cambridge, Warwick, Birmingham and many more.
Sixth Form students at Stantonbury have access to a very broad range of subjects and fantastic facilities in the performing arts, sport, science, design technology and media.
As well as striving for academic success, you will also be asked to take part in tutorial activities and PSHE. Most students will also take general studies or another enrichment course and take part in volunteering through campus service. In addition, students will be expected to spend about 4-5 hours per subject on independent studies.
Every year, students are offered the opportunity to take part in a range of trips and visits and many choose to volunteer or take part in charity work.
Our Sixth Form is a vibrant place to study and offers excellence in teaching and learning as well as high-quality resources.
