Poem – The Brave by Abu Talib (Maths Dept)

Please see the below poem by our very own Abu Talib from the maths department.

Abu Joined ‘Stantonbury Campus’ in 2012 as a Teacher of Mathematics. Having studied both in Bangladesh and here in the United Kingdom he is appreciative of both cultures and considers himself a world citizen.

Inspired by the resilience of our young people here at SIS and the national poet of his country of origin: Bangladesh, Abu felt compelled to share his feeling with the students and colleagues here Stantonbury by writing ‘The Brave’.

We are proud of all our learners and colleagues and proactively creating opportunities and atmosphere conducive to flourishing their full potential!

The Brave

You are the young
You are the fearless
You are the morning sun
You are the rider of the iron yarn

You are the youth
You are the Strong
You are the steadfast
You are the futures trust

You are the beloved
You are the beautiful
You are the dawn
You are the futures own

You are the hurricane
You are the unstoppable
You are the storm
You are future’s norm

You are the beautiful song
You are the melody
You are the drum beating
You are the awaited beginning

You are the maiden’s brave
You are the longing prince
You are the castle
You are the grand gate

You are the bright star
You are the horizon
You are the guide
You are the hunter
You are the Orion

You are the morning breeze
You are the flowing stream
You are the clear mist
You are the mighty river

You are the victor
You are the Warrior
You are the fire
You are the brave.
