Ofsted Update

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

I write to inform you that our latest Ofsted report is now available to view.

We are very pleased with the many positive aspects of this report and delighted that our self-evaluation matched with the findings of the Ofsted team. The report recognises the rapid improvements that have been made and supports us to focus on our areas for development. The report states:

‘Leaders’ ambitious vision for the school is shaped by their resolve to provide a stimulating and fulfilling education that balances and promotes academic and personal learning and development for all pupils. Leaders at all levels share this passion and sense of moral duty. By all accounts, they have already effected positive cultural change and the school’s work to promote pupils’ personal development and welfare is good.’

Promoting Proud Traditions, Wide Horizons and High Achievement is at the heart of everything we do and we are proud that our high aspirations for the school and its pupils were recognised.

I would like to thank parents who participated in the online surveys and I very much appreciated the many emails and letters of support during the Ofsted process.

A pdf of the full report can be found here, and all reports and letters about the school can be found using the Ofsted Portal. If you would like a hard copy please note that the main school office will be able to issue these upon request.

Ofsted is a non-ministerial department.

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. You can find more about Ofsted here.

Many thanks and best wishes,
