Eindhoven Visit

Last week, 38 students attended the PSV Eindhoven Tour 2018.

During the visit students trained at the ‘Der Herdgang’ PSV training ground, visited the famous Philips Stadion, watched PSV Eindhoven u19’s V FC Barcelona u19’s and had a tour of Eindhoven and all while learning about the culture of Dutch football and how this differs from the English game.

The boys played against Mierlohout winning 5-2, goals from Georgestone (2), Hall, Frempong and Boadi. The students also had the privilege of meeting Mark Van Bommel (PSV Eindhoven’s First Team Manager). He was very impressed with the attitude of our students and offered a Q&A session with them and also posed for pictures. The trip was a huge success and we as a school are now in the process of building a long-term partnership with PSV Eindhoven FC for future visits. Well done to all students who attended the trip!

Each and every student was a real credit to Stantonbury International School and this was evident after receiving positive feedback from PSV Eindhoven coaching staff, SBC travel company, Carlton De Brug hotel staff and also locals of Eindhoven.
