GCSE Results Day and Sixth Form Registration (August 22, 2019)

Re: GCSE and BTEC Results Day and Sixth Form Registration

We would like to congratulate all year 11 students on their attitude to their recent exams. Students were well-prepared, their behaviour was exemplary and we are sure that this will be reflected in their forthcoming results.

GCSE and BTEC results will be available for collection from 10am on Thursday 22 August from the Sixth Form Centre. Students can collect results in person or nominate someone else to collect them, but that person will need a signed letter from the student, giving authority for this.

Careers advice and sixth form representatives will be available to assist on the day.

Registration for Stantonbury Sixth Form

Where possible, we will register students for Year 12 courses on GCSE results day, 22 August 2019. Staff will be on hand to support you with your application if you require adjustment to courses pending grades. Please do not leave the Sixth Form centre without confirmation of your position or the qualifications you would like to study.

If for any reason you have not completed an application to date, log onto the Stantonbury International School website and complete the registration document on ULAS, signposted here: http://www.stantonbury-gst.org/sixth-form/

Once accepted, students should complete their resource deposit of £40 by using Parent Pay. £20 of this money works as a refundable deposit, the rest is pre payment for the London Hall Day trip and summer HE Convention Trip. Students in receipt of free school meals only need to pay £20.

Additional date to register: Tuesday 4 September. Please note this is only for students who did not register in person on 22 August.

Thursday 5 September: start of lessons

To ‘Get September Ready’, we advise students to have appropriate writing equipment and folders in preparation for the start of term. Please ensure you arrive at 8.40am for registration.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you good luck in any remaining exams and look forward to greeting you all in August.

A formal version of this letter is attached here for your reference.

Kindest regards,

Aaron Davies

Head of Sixth Form
